Funny isn't it?!
"- Funny how a $20 bill looks so big when you take it to the Mosque, but so small when you take it to the market.
- Funny how long it takes to do Zikr for an hour, but how quickly a team plays 60 minutes of basketball.
- Funny how long a couple of hours spent at the Mosque are, but how short they are when watching a movie.
- Funny how we can't think of anything to say when we pray, but don't have difficulty thinking of things to talk about to a friend.
- Funny how we get thrilled when a baseball game goes into extra innings, but we complain when a "Tarahvi" during Ramadhan is longer than the regular time.
- Funny how hard it is to read a Para in the Quran, but how easy it is to read 100 pages of a best selling novel.
- Funny how people want to get a front seat at any game or concert, but scramble to get a back row at mosque so that they can scramble out fast.
- Funny how we need 2 or 3 weeks advance notice to fit a Mosque event into our schedule, but can adjust our schedule for other events at the last moment.
- Funny how hard it is for people learn a simple Preaching well enough to tell others, but how simple it is for the same people to understand and repeat gossip.
- Funny how we believe what the newspaper says, but question what the Quran says.
- Funny how everyone wants to go to heaven provided they do not have to believe, or to think, or to say, or do anything.
- Funny how you can send a thousand 'jokes' through e-mail and they spread like wildfire, but when you start sending messages regarding Allah, people think twice about sharing.
FUNNY, ISN'T IT?
Are you laughing? Are you thinking?Give thanks to Allah for He is good & Mercifull!"

I think this article is very true. Alot of Muslims these days are questioning alot about Islam and taking the easy way out of everything. We all should just sit and think about all the things Allah (Swt) gave us. May Allah be with us all. :]

A cool Phone

"KDDI also teamed up with Yamaha to create a series of phones designed to be used as musical instruments. It's part of an exhibit launched in July called "Musical Mobile Phones/Instruments You Can Carry."
The idea is to inspire creativity and make communication easier, according to KDDI. The two shown here, phones inside two drumsticks, are called "sticks in the air.""
What kind of phone is this. I mean, seriously how can it be a phone? Its an instrument too!!?!!?!! HAHA... I don't really like it, but i just thought maybe you guys want to see it.:]

Moller M400 Skycar
Moller M400 Skycar
"The point of having vast coffers o’ cash, as any filthy-rich person will tell you, is to pay your way out of the mundane hassles that afflict the hoi polloi: traffic jams, military service, child rearing, flossing. Regrettably, aeronautics expert Paul Moller can’t help with flossing, but traffic jams he’s got covered.
Since 1962, Moller, a professor at the University of California, Davis, has been experimenting with fixed-wing planes that can take off and land vertically -- the perfect profile for the fabled flying car. The latest incarnation, the M400 Skycar, can carry four passengers as fast as 375 mph while cruising along at 13,200 feet. As the Moller site says: “No traffic, no red lights, no speeding tickets.” Also, one hopes, no midair collisions, no terrifying plummets to a fiery death.
The site calls the M400 “personally affordable,” but it doesn’t quote a price. We all know what that means: If you have to ask, you can't afford it. But you don't have to ask, do you?"

A really touching poem.
OPEN YOUR EYES
Open your eyes,
See His Signs,
They are clear,
As clear as a sunset.
Don't be blind,
Open your eyes,
To what He has Created.
He is One,
Lord of all,
The Creator of this sunset.

Macbook Touch
The rumor comes from the same MacDailyNews source who leaked new iTunes wireless features a few months back. It talks about a MacTab which will use the same multi-touch technology as the iPhone, but on a grander scale. Could it be true leak and not mere disinformation that Steve Jobs uses to ferret out loose lips and sink them? Well, there is the Apple Patent filing of a multi-touch LCD screen for tablets and laptops reported a few weeks back. Couple that with Steve’s carrot on a stick and you may just have something.
But meantime, the devil is in the details:The MacTab will have an iPhone style multi-touch screen that’s full featured and learns gestures to store them in a library. It’ll have Mac OS X, slot-loading SuperDrive, accelerometer, GPS, and compatible with Apple App Store. The speculation also talks about how it will follow the iPhone’s marketing plan of initially costing a lot, followed by a price drop once the product line is established."

Camera and Phone ?!?
My source doesn’t say much about the phone, but it goes on and on about the camera. For instance, it has nine point autofocus function, face detection, backlight correction, anti-shake, as well as a 10.2 x digital zoom. It can also record VGA clips at 30 frames per second, which makes it perfect for YouTube videos.
The screen of the Casio EXILIM W63CA has a 3.1 inch OLED for about 26 million colors and 384,000 pixels, and it has a 1-Seg TV viewing feature. The phone has 600 MB of memory, a microSD card slot, and it can be used in 21 different countries.
I have to admit this is one of the most advanced cameras that I have ever heard of being put on a cellular phone. Most of the time, the camera is added on as some sort of convention, with very little megapixels or adjusting features. I hope the W63CA is the start of a new standard when it comes to cell phone cameras.
Unfortunately, the Casio EXILIM W63CA will only be available in Japan, and I’m not certain of the price. It will come in four colors including Ice White, Shiny Pink, Titanium Gold, and Metal Green. "

A keyboard for iPhones and iPods :]
I don’t personally own an iPhone, but if I ever had to use one to send and receive very important emails, I would definitely want to have the BTKeyMini. The BTKeyMini is a Bluetooth keyboard designed for the iPhone as well as the iPod Touch.
With this device, you can wirelessly sync up to your Apple mobile device of choice, and have that wonderful feeing of clicking keys underneath your fingers.
As you can see, there is some sort of flap on the keyboard that is presumably there to hold the iPhone in place. I’m not certain how large this keyboard is, so I’m going to go with it being the size of an Asus Eee. That would make it easily portable if that is the case.
The only question that remains is when this product will become available. Apparently, it was announced in January, the available for pre-order in August. Any chance this will be available before Christmas? I believe the price will be approximately $92 when that happens. "

LG Prada II has a new matching watch!!!!!
Other features include dual-band HSDPA, quad-band GSM, plus a full HTML browser. The user also has the option of listening to FM radio, and watching television with the TV out option. There is also a document viewer for whatever you want to read.
In other words, your phone has entertainment as well as being a phone. As far as memory is concerned, there is 60MB of internal memory, and the phone has a microSD slot.
All this, plus it comes with a matching watch. Did I mention it is Bluetooth? Not only will you be able to view incoming calls and texts on the watch, but it is stainless steel and genuine leather. You can also view the world time, but you have an alarm with stop and snooze.
You should be able to buy the LG Prada II in European countries like Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. The price is about 600 euros, but no word on price on the matching watch.
OMG!! I never knew Prada had a phone! Prada is sooo huge in the fashion world. I love it so muc, its clothes, handbags, jewlery, etc... and now they have a phone and a matching watch!!! i want it so bad :]. Its touchscreen and if you dnt want to type on the screen you can type on the keyboard. Haha... isn't it so cool?

Music Bench :)
"At long last, people can listen to their own personal music on public benches. This bench was created by German designer Michael Schoner of NL Architects.
What makes this public bench is that it plays music from passing mobile phones via Bluetooth. Now all youngsters will know where to hang out and play tunes all day long in the park. I can just picture it now.
The bench was exhibited at last month’s Urban Play 2 event in Amsterdam. "

Hand Camera Concept Design
A Japanese designer named Mac Funamizu is currently designing a camera of the future that works on this age-old finger principle. The camera is put in a pair of sunglasses, and what you see here is what the user is seeing through the sunglasses.
Funamizu’s camera works by putting your fingers in the place where you would want to frame your subject. Then you take your picture with a wink. That is a literal wink by the way, as in you shut your left eye, and the picture is taken in your literal hand frame."

Fanatec releases Limited Edition Porsche 911 Turbo S Racing Wheels for Xbox 360

"Like many other hot blooded males out there, I too, have a penchant for fast cars - although my experience has been limited to solely the digital kind as I do not have the cash to pony up for an exotic four wheeler from the local luxury car showroom. Well, for those who are in the same boat as me and love driving fast cars but are rather more concerned with bread and butter issues at this point in time, there is always a compromise. Fanatec, a manufacturer of high end gaming peripherals, has just announced that it will be rolling out its new Porsche 911 Turbo S Racing Wheels specially for the Xbox 360. Hmm, at least you can brag to your friends that you have a Porsche at home - never mind that it is just a steering wheel. You can choose from a trio of versions - 911 Turbo S Edition, Clubsport Edition, and Pure Edition when you place your pre-order."

Asus Vento TA-F chassis series can be folded

"Most of us would think that computer casings are hard pieces of metal which tend to take up bulk and space, but good thing Asus introduces a paradigm shift with their new Vento TA-F chassis series that come with a twist. What makes the Vento TA-F series so different is its ability to be folded into a compact shape, saving you up to 30% of the original required space. You will be able to choose from black or silver colors, and when folded into the normal shape, you will be able to slot in a quartet of both 5.25″ and 3.5″ internal bays. Although nobody uses floppies these days, Asus has thoughtfully included a bay for it just in case. There is no word on pricing and availability as at press time, but nice to see Asus follow Ikea’s steps in flat packing."

Cool new Keyboard :]

"According to my source, designer Weston Boege’s Glide Keyboard is the world’s largest mouse. However, the Glide Keyboard isn’t a mouse per se, but a keyboard that allows for sliding around on the desk.
In other words, the keyboard and the mouse are now one in the same. I can think of a few applications where the keyboard and mouse working together could do wonders. At least you are not shifting from the keyboard to the mouse all the time."

Who I Am!
Who I Am !
An Excellent poem about the Muslim Woman.
What do you see
when you look at me
Do you see someone limited,
or someone free
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
All some people can do is just look and stare
Simply because they can't see my hair
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Others think I am controlled and uneducated
They think that I am limited and un-liberated
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
They are so thankful that they are not me
Because they would like to remain 'free'
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Well free isn't exactly the word I would've used
Describing women who are cheated on and abused
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
They think that I do not have opinions or voice
They think that being hooded isn't my choice
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
They think that the hood makes me look caged
That my husband or dad are totally outraged
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
All they can do is look at me in fear
And in my eye there is a tear
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Not because I have been stared at or made fun of
But because people are ignoring the one up above
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
On the day of judgment they will be the fools
Because they were too ashamed to play by their own rules
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Maybe the guys won't think I am a cutie
But at least I am filled with more inner beauty
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
See I have declined from being a guy's toy
Because I won't let myself be controlled by a boy
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Real men are able to appreciate my mind
And aren't busy looking at my behind
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
Hooded girls are the ones really helping the muslim cause
The role that we play definitely deserves applause
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
I will be recognized because I am smart and bright
And because some people are inspired by my sight
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
The smart ones are attracted by my tranquility
In the back of their mind they wish they were me
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
We have the strength to do what we think is right
Even if it means putting up a life long fight
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
You see we are not controlled by a mini skirt and tight shirt
We are given only respect, and never treated like dirt
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
So you see, we are the ones that are free and liberated
We are not the ones that are sexually terrorized and violated
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
We are the ones that are free and pure
We're free of STD's that have no cure
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>
So when people ask you how you feel about the hood
Just sum it up by saying 'baby its all good' ;)
<=><=><=><=><=><=><=><=>

Please Take me!
Please Take me!
"I was driving to the grocery store just thinking of everything on my list to do today. Taking the kids to soccer practice, cleaning the house, getting groceries, getting the oil changed in the car, the list went on and on. i was feeling overwhelmed and was already tired before I had even gotten started.
On my way to the store I saw something horrible happen!! A train had run into a car that was crossing the tracks. I thought "Oh no!, This is horrible, there is no way the driver of that car could have lived!!"
I was the closest car to the tracks so I put my car in park and got out. I ran over to the car and looked in and could not believe what I was seeing. Tears came to my eyes and I just couldn't take it. Inside the car was a woman driving that was obviously dead.
In the backseat was a baby in it's car seat bleeding everywhere and next to the baby was a little girl who I guessed to be about 4 years old and she was bleeding also. Just then the little girl spoke.
She said, "Is my mommy and baby sister okay?"
I just looked at her and said "Honey I don't know. There is a doctor on his way right now."
Just then the little girl started crying saying, "Don't take my mommy and my baby sister - Take me with you too!! Please!!"
She was pleading at who knows what to take her - but take her where?? I asked the little girl who she was talking to and she said, "don't you see ?"
That Angel is taking my mommy and my baby sister! I want to go with them too! My mommy is waving goodbye to me and she is holding my baby sister and she is smiling!"
The little girl started to cry because she did not want to stay, she wanted to go with her mommy and her baby sister.
I felt so sorry for her. I didn't believe in God and I thought to myself, "Where did an Angel come from? What kind of God would take a mommy and a baby but not the little sister?"
At that moment I saw the little girl start to smile so big as she held her arms out to something, someone to pick her up. I thought to myself that she must be delirious and maybe she is hurt worse that I thought. Just then the little girl closed her eyes and slumped over in her seat. She was dead!
I couldn't be sad even though this was a 4 year old little girl that had just died. You wouldn't be sad either if you could see that beautiful smile on her face! I guess her mommy and baby sister came back to get her.
That was also the day that God came to get me - as that was the day that I became a believer and turned my life over to the only One God."

Miutech Hybrid Dual Portable Computer runs Windows XP and Windows CE in a phone design-factor
"The Hybrid Dual Portable Computer (HDPC) is really two devices fused in the same body: an ARM-powered Windows CE cellphone and a miniature PC that runs Windows XP. Miutech’s second iteration of the HDPC is powered by an Intel Atom chip (it used to be a Via C7M). When closed, it acts as a (big) phone, but once opened (like a sidekick), it’s a PC with a 800×480 touch display. The specifications aren’t quite clear, but the dimensions are thought to resemble the 160 x 65 x 25mm, 13.6oz of the previous prototype. Check out Miutech’s website."

BULLET TRAIN!!!
California had dreamed of a day when bullet trians would revolutionize transportation. Today Califorina is depending on the voters to pony up 10 billionto bankroll the first true hight speed-rail line in the nation. People been trying to build this bullet trian but always fell short.But they say a confluence of events -- rising fuel prices, gridlocked roads, jammed airports and concern about global warming -- present the best chance yet to bring bullet trains to America. "We have a perfect storm ... those four factors make a perfect case for high-speed rail," Ron Diridion of the state's High Speed Rail Authority, recently told the San Francisco Chronicle.
